Marrekech, Morocco...Scenes from The Sofitel

This was the resident cat we had fun spotting everyday on the terrace area where we had cocktails in the evening.

This was a hall that I saw a reception being held in on Saturday.

Outside in the front was the entrance to the night club Brad went to with Cassey and Eckranh on Saturday night...I never found out if this was a real Claus Oldenburg sculpture.

This was one of the lounge areas for the night club.

As the sun went down the lights began to add a fun atmosphere to the club lounge area.
Infront of the lounge was a track for kids to ride around in these fun cars.

Jackson and Nazeem

Mermaids spotted in the hot tube(not really hot...just luke warm).  Abigail and Maya

Saturday night...the girls waiting to go out for the night.

This was an odd piece of furniture/art....It looked like something from Beetlejuice(the movie).
A huge piece of art in the main lobby...actual Moroccan shoes.

The girls drinking Moroccan tea.

This man came every afternoon to serve tea...this is how he made it...He took a bunch of mint leaves, cubes of sugar and poured boiling water over them in a gorgeous silver tea pot.  He then poured them in small glasses.  I wish I had bought a set of these dainty tea glasses, but I do have a massive amount of mint in my garden this year!
